CowTV

The rock band Puddle of Mudd pulled into Columbus recently for one helluva show.  CowTV was fortunate to be able to get an exclusive interview with Wes Scantlin – lead singer, founder and front-man for Puddle of Mudd.  The concert tour stop at the LC Pavilion was at the final leg a of a long tour in support of their widely popular album “Famous”.  Being a stop toward the end of a long tour, however, had no effect on the band’s performance – without a doubt, PUDDLE OF MUDD ROCKED THE HOUSE!

The interview quickly became more of a relaxed conversation with both CowTV and Wes Scantlin having fun with each other and the discussion (the only thing missing was a couple of cold beers).  Other than the obvious that Wes Scantlin is a talented musician and songwriter, it didn’t take long to realize that he’s also many, many other things – the most impressive thing being that he’s truly a genuine person who loves what he’s doing.  You’ll just have to watch our interview – er,… uh,… conversation to see for yourself.  Oh yeah, we threw a lot of our “curve-balls” his way to see how he’d react – this lead to yet another observation – Wes Scantlin’s got a subtile sarcastic side which even caught us off-guard.

One final note – when CowTV arrived at the LC to do this interview, we were asked, “Why Puddle of Mudd?” – our response was simple and honest, “Because we’re fans” – no doubt!
