Loading ...Take your choice – bottom line is, if you were a part of the huge crowd at the 6th Annual North Market’s Fiery Foods Festival, you may have experienced both. I tend to call the “experience” MONKEY-BUTT. You know… it’s the face you make the morning after having consumed spicy-hot foods (oh yeah,…you’re feelin’ it…).
The crowd was thick with people and air was thick with heat – heat from the spice added to the chili in the pro and amateur competitions – heat from the amateur hot wing sauce competition and of course, the CaJohn’s Wings of Fire! Wing eating contest: hot division and the Extremely, insanely hot division. While it was cold outside, it didn’t take long to heat up inside! So much going on during this festival… CowTV was able to capture a bit of the passion (more like insanity) that guys like CaJohn himself, Buddah from www.tastethefear.com and Bret (from Jungle Jim’s) have for spicy hot sauces with names like: Lethal Ingestion and Black Mamba. By the way, Buddah swears that the more of this hot sauce you eat, you begin to crave it – ouch!
You’ll even see that CowTV is dedicated by participate in the Wing’s of Fire – hot division wing eating contest. Fun people, fun event, fun video… watch and enjoy!
CowTV thanks Dave and Mary (yeah Mary, thanks for giving me the LARGEST WINGS YOU COULD FIND FOR THE WING COMPETITION) from the North Market, and especially CaJohn and his dedicated (or “medicated”) crew and all the most excellent people we talked to during this Firey Foods Festival. What a great time – CowTV will be back for next year’s Festival – antacid tablets and tucks medicated pads in hand!

Great coverage CowTV! I wish I could have made it this year, wasn’t in the cards though. I drove up from SC last year and had a blast.
Awesome job in the wing contest by the way. My nephew was the first to drop out last year. First round.

Actually, we love Buddahover on TTF, but he’s got a tendency to babble in case ya didn’t notice. We tend to rib him a little about it. Kinda hard to tell in this video though huh? Haha!!
